The Tri-State Troopers Fund, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation organized by a group of state troopers from Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In order to uphold the tradition of supporting their brethrens’ families, the TSTF mission statement is as follows:

(1) To give financial assistance to the surviving spouse and the minor children of state and local police who are killed, permanently injured or become ill while working in law enforcement to protect the lives of others in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York;

(2) To give financial assistance to the families of state and local police who become ill or experience tragedy;

(3) To improve the quality of life and strengthen the families of state and local police through educational programs, activities and outreach initiatives; and

(4) To help people, who are interested in entering the field of law enforcement, attain their goal through a college scholarship, made available through the Criminal Justice Department of Northampton Community College.
